Who is the new conductor of Teekkarikuoro? Come find out at our open rehearsals!
Teekkarikuoro is hosting open rehearsals for everyone on Tuesday, September 2nd and 9th from 18:15 to 21:00 in room RH215 in Rakennustalo. During the rehearsals, you'll get to sing alongside our choir members and experience how we practice together. You’ll also have the chance to sign up for an audition – your first step to becoming a member of the choir!
Teekkarikuoro is a mixed choir based at Tampere University Hervanta campus. In the choir musical ambition meets a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our repertoire includes a wide variety of music: from entertaining pop and folk songs to classical choral pieces, vocal ensemble music and of course, the beloved drinking songs rooted in teekkari culture. We welcome all singing enthusiasts – whether you're a teekkari or not!
In addition to singing, choir members enjoy spending time together outside rehearsals. True to the Teekkarikuoro spirit, our sauna nights, excursions, and other social events always come with a hearty dose of singing.
