Join us as Tampere University Singers and Teekkarikuoro fill the city with joyful choir music in the Great Nocturnal Happening on Thursday, August 8!

Welcome to Teekkarikuoro’s spring concert and join Miss Spring on her quest to find her way up and down in Tampere University city centre campus Main Auditorium on Tuesday, May 7 at 7 pm.

On Wednesday, March 20, it’s time for an audiovisual spectacle that will be a feast for the ears and the eyes: Teekkarikuoro’s TALent Hervanta 2024! Different musical ensembles will have the chance to show off their skills in Peyton Place starting at 6 pm!

PerinneSeura and Teekkarikuoro are arranging the traditional Singing Sauna again on Tuesday, Feb 6 at 6 pm in Teekkarisauna Mörrimöykky. The main event of the evening is the competition of new teekkari songs, and the winning song will be in the next edition of Rasputin.

Teekkarikuoro from Tampere and Kipinät from Jyväskylä bring sparkle to Christmas! The two choirs will perform in Taulumäki Church in Jyväskylä on Saturday December 9 at 2 pm. The concert offers a unique Christmas experience that will enchant listeners with its sound and take you to the heart of the Christmas spirit guided by rhythmic choir arrangements.

Tampere University Singers and Teekkarikuoro unite their singing powers once again in The Great Nocturnal Happening of Tampere Theatre Festival on Thursday August 10!

This year, the show at Roligan’s will start at 7 pm. After this, we will continue singing on the streets of Tampere city centre. Welcome to enjoy happy choir music and the refreshing summer night!

Teekkarikuoro ja kuoron entiset jäsenet esittävät wappuisia lauluja toivottavasti kauniissa kevätsäässä, tule kuuntelemaan!

let the feast begin - it’s time for Teekkarikuoro’s 37.5th anniversary gala!

The anniversary gala takes place on Saturday April 1st, 2023 at 18:00 and on Sunday April 2nd, 2023, there will be a sillis brunch starting at 12:00. The gala will be celebrated in Kangasalan pirtti and the sillis will be held in Teekkarisauna Mörrimöykky.

Töttöröö ja tervetuloa Teekkarikuoron ja Retuperän WBK:n yhteiskonserttiin Sampolan juhlasaliin aprillipäivää edeltävänä perjantaina 31.3. Konsertti alkaa klo 19.00.

Tule kuuntelemaan, kuninka 90-vuotista musiikkimatkaansa juhliva otaniemeläinen torwiorkesteri ja ihan tamperelainen Teekkarikuoro lyövät voimansa yhteen tässä mahtipontisuutta uhkuvassa yhteiskonsertissa. Tätä ei todellakaan kannata missata!

Teekkarikuoro is a student choir operating on Tampere University Hervanta campus. Its diverse repertoire has everything from drinking songs to “manserock” and modern choir arrangements. Despite the name our choir is not only for Teekkaris even though Teekkari spirit is encouraged!

In January, the choir is hosting open rehearsals where anyone can come and test what it's like to sing in Teekkarikuoro. Open rehearsals will be held at Tampere University Hervanta campus room RH215 on Monday 16th and 23th of January at 18.15-21.00. At the rehearsals you can listen, watch and participate and sign up for try-outs at the end of the rehearsals.

This year the second Christmas concert of Teekkarikuoro will be in Kangasala church with the mixed choir Pikantit.

Teekkarikuoro will be conducted by Riku Miettunen and Pikantit by Laura Eskola. Entrance 20 €/10 € (discount price for students and children).

Welcome to Teekkarikuoro's album release concert! Join us on Saturday 3 December at 19:00 in Tampere Cathedral to find out what kind of Yuletide magic the choir has in store.

Teekkarikuoro will sing in the opening of Tampere Chrismas Market.

The choir will perform on the same stage with the mayor of Tampere, Anna-Kaisa Ikonen, and Santa Claus. After us, there will be a performance by Yona.

Maanantaisiin Laikunlava laulaa -konsertteihin kuuluu aina tamperelaisen kuoron konsertti ja konsertin jälkeen klo 19 alkaen Sulasol ry:n vetämät yhteislauluillat.

Hura hurraa hoi! on teekkarilauluiloittelu, jossa lavalle nousevat Polyteknikkojen Kuoro Otaniemestä sekä Teekkarikuoro Tampereen Hervannasta. Kuorot haluavat tällä konsertilla kunnioittaa teekkarilaulujuuriaan. Ohjelmassa kuullaan uusia sovituksia perinteisistä teekkarilauluista, uudempia teekkarihenkisiä teoksia sekä tietysti myös tuttuja klassikkojuomalauluja. Konsertin huipentaa kuorojen yhteisesitys, joka viimeistään saattelee kuulijat wapputunnelmaan.

Ääniaallot pärähtävät ilmoille Tampereen yliopiston juhlasalissa keskiviikkona 27.4.2022 klo 19. Lippuja (20/8€) on saatavilla teekkarikuorolaisilta, yo-kunnan palvelutiskeiltä (Helkyn ja Tuiren tiskit), osoitteesta https://tinyurl.com/hurraahoi/ sekä ovelta.

Polyteknikkojen Kuoro
Vuonna 1900 perustettu Polyteknikkojen Kuoro (PK) on yksi maamme merkittävimmistä mieskuoroista. PK tunnettiin aluksi Teknillisen korkeakoulun laulukuntana ja yhä edelleen sen laulajat nousevat Otaniemen teekkarien riveistä, mikä näkyy määrätietoisessa taiteellisessa toiminnassa sekä huumorintäytteisessä tekemisen meiningissä. Polyteknikkojen kuoroa johtaa musiikin maisteri Saara Aittakumpu.

Teekkarikuoro konsertoi joulun alla Tampereen tuomiokirkossa Jouluun hiljaiseen -konsertissa perjantaina 10.12.2021 kello 19.

Teekkarikuoro’s traditional arrangement competition is here again! The idea is to arrange a known or self-written song in a new way, preferably so that it can be performed by a choir or a smaller singing group.

Open rehearsal on Monday the 20th of January from 18:15 to 21:00 in RI207 in Rakennustalo.

Teekkarikuoro will give a traditional Christmas concert, Jouluun hiljaiseen, at Alexander church on Tuesday 17th of December at 7 pm.

Teekkarikuoro and Vox Tyrwää will give a Christmas concert, Jouluun hiljaiseen, together at Tyrvää church on Saturday 14th of December at 6 pm.

Marraskuussa Suomen teekkarikuorot tapaavat ja konsertoivat yli 200 hengen voimin yhdessä Polyteknikkojen orkesterin kanssa lauantaina 16.11. klo 18 Helsingin konservatoriolla.
