Teekkarikuoro is having open rehearsals on Tuesday, January 20th and January 27th from 18:15 to 21:00 in room RH215 in Rakennustalo. At the rehearsals you’ll get to sing together with the choir and get a taste of how we practice together. 😋🎤 You’ll also have the chance to sign up for an audition – your first step to becoming a member of the choir!
Teekkarikuoro is a 40-year-old mixed choir based at Tampere University Hervanta campus. In the choir musical ambition meets a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our repertoire includes a wide variety of music: from entertaining pop and folk songs to classical choral pieces, vocal ensemble music and of course, the beloved drinking songs rooted in teekkari culture. In Teekkarikuoro, you’ll have the opportunity to develop as a singer as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary group of vocalists.
Choral singing is much more than weekly rehearsals and concerts — sauna evenings and excursions, among other activities, are liked among the members. There’s plenty to do in Teekkarikuoro for active contributors and participants alike. 👷♀️✅️
